Reinvent yourself every year

When I was a child I wanted to have several professions at the same time. I wanted to draw, I liked to fix things and to assemble and disassemble everything I came across. In my case, I remember starting out assembling and disassembling computers. I also chose to draw manga/comics to pass the time, but I didn’t really have a definite direction for what I wanted to do in the future. I was just thinking about the now and whatever caught my attention at the time. As I grew up, I learned to use Photoshop, Illustrator, among other programs and it was there, where I began to expand everything I liked. From learning so much, I had the opportunity to understand many things. There are things that we learn, but do not understand, such as web page designs, but do we ask ourselves how they are made? That was my case, I asked myself so many questions that I made the decision to opt for programming and today I can design and program a website from scratch.

Reinventing yourself is not about abandoning your dreams, but expanding the ones that suit you best. Why don’t we change “surrender” to “reinvent myself”, it sounds better and has thousands of possibilities. Every year we work to achieve better results and set achievable goals. This year is another year for reinvention. Renewing myself professionally and personally is something that will never rest in me. I always aspire to learn more and be at the forefront of my field. This coming year will be another year full of new knowledge, greater efforts and eager to let everyone know that I have managed to expand every bit of knowledge.

That’s why I invite you to reinvent yourself every year and do the following:

  1. Increase the quality of your packages and if this means having to raise prices, you can do it because it is your time and work.
  2. If necessary, redesign your brand.
  3. Make explanatory videos to inspire other people to believe in your projects.
  4. Organize your projects.

Finally, I recommend you to “copy and paste” them, write them down on a piece of paper or notebook so you can always carry them with you and apply them when you decide to reinvent yourself once again.
